Knaack is looking for a Entry Level Manufacturing Engineer for our Crystal Lake, IL facility!

Knaack, the leading manufacturer of jobsite, truck and van storage equipment, has an opening for a Entry Level Manufacturing Engineer. Working with the Engineering Staff this position will perform functions to develop and maintain processes to produce product at the most efficient and economical methods using their Engineering, Lean, and Six-Sigma Methodologies. Projects will be aligned to the company’s directive whether through the use of implementation of new equipment, modifications to equipment or performing Kaizens (Lean, SMED, 5-S, etc.).

Position Requirements:

• Undergraduate degree in Engineering.
• Six sigma Black, Mastery of Lean Manufacturing principles and application is a plus.
• Must have a working knowledge of computer software such as CAD, MS Office products including Excel and Project Scheduler, Minitab, and MRP/ERP
• Must possess good interpersonal skills and be able to effectively communicate with all levels of Associates up to and including Senior Management.
• Self-starter with high energy level.
